Do I have to sign any paperwork or authorization forms?
In some cases a cemetery will require you to complete a marker authorization form. This is usually associated with the marker setting fees. This form needs to be completed by the next of kin or the plot owner. In most cases this form will require specific information pertaining to the size, material and monument dealer you purchased your head stone from.
In the event the cemetery requires any paperwork, Arlington Memorials will work with you and the cemetery to make sure that all of the necessary paperwork is completed accurately prior to delivery.
Not completing the necessary paperwork can delay the delivery of your memorial. Some cemeteries, like Rose Hills Memorial park, will not accept your marker during delivery without a copy of the authorization form. Be sure to give a completed copy to your monument provider to ensure the cemetery accepts your stone.
